1. Selection of Service
We offer three different kinds of service for our commodities from which you (Customer)
select one when you place the order.
1.Quality Service A
We add values to the commodity by rendering the below listed services, and, upon completion of which, affix the “Mevius Brand” to it.
- Tune-up.
- Replacing and/or fixing expendable parts and accessories.
- Repairing damages and dents on body.
- Cleaning interior upholstery and accessories in our specialized facilities.
- Cleaning and coating body-exterior likewise.
- Issuing a logbook for tune-up and a statement on the condition of body-exterior.
2.Quality Service B
We add the same values as by Quality Service A except c).
- Tune-up.
- Replacing and/or fixing expendable parts and accessories.
- Cleaning interior upholstery and accessories in our specialized facilities.
- Cleaning and coating body-exterior likewise. Issuing a logbook for tune-up.
3.Quality Service C
- The quality of the commodity should conform to the standards announced by the auction company.
- We inspect the commodity to see if it actually satisfies such standards.
- The commodity will be shipped as-is after the inspection.
2. Particulars of the Quality Service
1.Tune-up
Specified on separate page.
2.Replacing and/or fixing expendable parts and accessories.
- Changing the timing belt when the mileage reads over 100,000 kilometers but apparently the belt has never been changed.
- Changing the tires of more than 70% wear rate.
- Changing the worn windshield wipers.
- Fixing the air conditioner, power steering, stereo set, or sunroof not functioning properly.
3.Repairing body-exterior.
- The number of remaining damages and dents after repairing will be less than ten.
- Remaining damages will be only scratches of less than 10 centimeters long respectively.
- Remaining dents will be less than 6 centimeters wide respectively.
4.Cleaning and coating body-exterior.

5.Issuing a logbook for tune-up and a statement on the condition
of body-exterir.
- Recording the result of tune-up in the logbook.
- Recording the result of fixing body-exterior in the condition statement.
3. How to order
We accept orders in either of the following ways.

4. Sales Confirmation
1.As soon as the commodity becomes available, we will
forward to you an offer with commodity specifications.
2.Your confirmation of our offer by either of the following
ways will beaccepted as an official order.
- Through our online service (mevius-net)
- By e-mail
- By fax
3.We will issue Sales Contract to confirm your order the
moment we receive it.
5. Follow-up of the Order
- We will procure commodity as per Contract at an auction held in Japan.
- When we acquire commodity, we will issue Proforma Invoice for final confirmation of the Contract.
- Cancellation of the Contract after we acquired the commodity is not acceptable.
- In case both parties agree to omit the issuance of Sales Contract, the contract becomes effective when Proforma Invoice is issued.
6. Payment
- As a rule, you are required to make down payment of 50% by the time shipment date is fixed.
- We will decide on the date of shipment once your remittance of the down payment is confirmed.
- Cancellation of the Contract after we acquired the commodity is not acceptable.
- You are to pay the remaining balance within the number of days mutually agreed on after the day you receive shipping advice.
- After remittance of the balance is confirmed, we will send you shipping documents including B/L necessary to release your vehicle at the Customs.
- In the event that B/L must be corrected, and you are responsible for it, you must pay 10,000 yen each time such correction is made.
- Depending on the nature of your order, we may require full payment before we procure the commodity.
- We may cancel the Contract or suspend the transaction if you delay payment or ignore our reminder for payment.
7. Claims
We accept no claims unless they meet the following conditions.
1.In case the Quality Service A is selected:
- The claim relates to some error in our tune-up logbook.
- The claim relates to some error in our condition statement for body.
- You submit claim notice within 7 days after the commodity arrives at the port of destination.
2. In case the Quality Service B is selected:
- The claim relates to some error in our tune-up logbook.
- No claims on body are acceptable.
- You submit claim notice within 7 days after the commodity arrives at the port of destination.
3.In case the Quality Service C is selected:
- No claims are acceptable when the order is placed for “No Claim Condition.”
- No claims on body are acceptable.
- Your claim relates to problems falling within the quality standards announced by the auction company at which we procured the commodity.
- The FOB value of the commodity is 200,000 yen or more.
- The commodity is made in Japan.
- The manufacturing date of the commodity is 10 years old or less.
- The mileage of the vehicle is 100,000 kilometers or less.
- You submit claim notice within 7 days after the commodity arrives at the port of destination.
4. You must forward claim notice to us within 7 days after the
commodity arrives at the port of destination.
5. You are required to send us the particulars of the claim with
the pictures of the commodity within 7 days after you
submit claim notice.
6. The claim becomes unacceptable if you have the vehicle
repaired before you submit claim notice.
7. No claims on problems that occurred during transit after
shipment are acceptable.
8. You can file a claim only once per commodity.
9. We will not hold ourselves responsible for any settlement
you may have made with your customer.
8. Cancellation of the Contract
- Cancellation of the Contract after Proforma Invoice is issued is not acceptable.
- If you still cancel it, you must pay 100,000 yen plus 10% of the commodity price for breach of contract.
